This week was all about shoes. We're not sure why, but it seemed like most of the projects that really stood out were shoe designs. Of course, we love shoes. We also try and keep a variety in our top five staff picks every week. All of these projects impressed us.

It's Inauguration Day here in America. Some may be excited for the pomp and circumstance, but many of us Americans just want to think about anything else. Kittens, tacos, unicorns...pretty much anything will do at this point. These are the five projects that made the Coroflot team happy and hopeful this week.

Maybe people are feeling more productive because it's the start of a new year, but we were especially impressed by the high volume of solid projects posted by the Coroflot community this week.

This week we were impressed by the well-rounded collection of projects shared on Coroflot. Some weeks there is a theme that emerges naturally among the Staff Picks, and others there seems to be a surge in a particular style of design. Here we get a variety of design styles represented.

People must be paying attention to the Project Gallery a lot these days, because the number of emails and comments we've gotten asking how the featuring process works has amped up considerably.

Mundane everyday objects, colorful illustrations, and cute robots were some of the standout projects we came across on Coroflot this week. Each of the five projects are completely unique and also demonstrate fully developed skill sets, and most give us a detailed look at the process.
