Staff Picks Of The Week: September 23rd
It's safe to say we've been pretty blown away by the amount of high-quality creative work posted to Coroflot over the last week. That's not to say there aren't amazing projects posted every week, but this week has seen an array of impressive projects from all walks of life, touching on a multitude of styles and techniques. While it was hard for us to pick five, each project featured in the collection below seems to present a different step of the design process, and a different area of design for that matter!
Denver Nuggets Locker Room by Jessica Irons
This "fast paced turnaround project" for the Denver Nuggets team is loaded with awesome details for an overall on-point experience, including a lunch and game room with a ceiling hitting warp-speed and some seriously posh shower stalls. There's no doubt this renovation made for some very happy basketball players.
LEGO Scooby Doo by Nicholas Groves
Zoinks! Leave it to Lego to bring these two childhood favorites together at last. As a Creative Director at the toy company, Nicholas Groves has spearheaded a number of film and TV-based Lego projects, including The Hobbit, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Jurassic World. Maybe it's nostalgia but we are loving these Scooby sets.
Telefunken CU29 product visualisation by Mike Brogowski
There are not a lot of details on the why or what for, but Mike nails the mood and character with this project. This is also some incredibly detailed rendering and texturing.
This is what our drawing teacher said would happen if we sketched everyday. Bryan Johnson's sketches display some hot skills while also giving us an artistic cross-section on the process of bringing an idea to life.
Festival Walk 15/16 thematic campaign by Shine Hung
This is some high art for the mall! It's easy to imagine how spectacular these images would be back-lit and six feet tall. Shine Hung worked on this 2-year campaign for an iconic shopping arcade located in Hong Kong.
