-Sugar Dispenser-
I had to create a product that would allow the user to access sugar quicker and easier at a local coffee shops. I went to a few different coffee and bakery places to do more in depth research. Many key points came up while talking with the managers of each place. How much does it cost to buy packets of sugar in the bulk? How many people throw their trash on the table? How much counter space is there and storage underneath?
It was difficult to wrap my mind around this project because most people want sugar to go just in case they need more or less. How much sugar does it take to make coffee taste right anyway? I decided to create a dispenser that would measure the right amount of sugar needed to wake you up in the morning and have great tasting coffee.
This project taught me a lot about the manufacturing process and mechanics to make it work. It was also great to understand the user experience to make the dispensing process better.
