TransportU Mobile Application
I created TransportU for multiple reasons. One of the biggest reasons was the problem of feeling secure or safe when using a carpool application. There are many carpool applications on the market where anyone can pick you up at anytime for the amount they are charging. They also have a limit for how far they are willing to take you, most of the time.
I wanted to create a platform directly for college students allowing them to save money, time and the feeling of security. All college students have their own school email and password needed for pretty much everything on campus. The idea of needing their school email will eliminate random users picking up students along with being able to track who gives rides. There is also an option to visit other campuses. Find a ride at a different school as a guest. This will alert the driver that they are from a rival school!
