I have an Associate's Degree in Fashion Marketing and a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design. I am experienced in Women's and Men's Ready To Wear. I have good attention to detail, I am able to handle multiple tasks without feeling like I am under pressure. I work fast, efficiently, and I always meet my deadlines.
During my time at The Art Institute, I have prepared multiple technical packages that include cost sheets, specification sheets, and cutters must. I have made many garments from patterns that I have drafted by hand and on the computer using the Gerber Software. I've volunteered at Philadelphia Fashion Week as a backstage volunteer, helping designers with their model lineup and dressing the models.
Software Skills: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Accumark (Gerber), Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
With my credentials, I am hoping to gain a job position as a designer, pattern-maker, or as a production assistant in the fashion industry. If I am hired, I will work hard using the knowledge and skills I've learned to create a good working environment.
