Design, for me, is always an experiment. I love the challenge of developing visual communication. But I really get off on the psychology of what makes users tick / click. I believe creative focus, brand strategy and business results go hand in hand. I love the magic that happens when something beautiful is created to solve a business goal and meet a user’s need.
I'm passionately curious about responsive web and mobile design. We are no longer a kiosk-based culture where we go somewhere to find information. We want information where we are... and we are on the move.
More than a visual designer, I approach every communication or design challenge from an analytical, pragmatic and right brained perspective. The dualism of artistic creativity and pedantic precision has characterized all of my work.
I'm the kind of designer who speaks up and makes content suggestions. Interaction design is as much a visual communication challenge as it is a written one. Good interactions are a result of a content strategy that blends beautiful design with wonderful writing.
