Kelly (Yu-Shan) Chow

COROMOTO is a design studio providing modern interior and architecture designs. I helped them as a design assistant on designing furniture concepts and CAD drawings. I learned a lot new knowledge on structures and the actual progress of manufacturing new furniture designs. Also, I learned that companies in China tend to use more SketchUp and 3DMax for higher efficiency, so I improved my SketchUp skills through self-study for completing the tasks.

This is an one month internship of understanding design markets of China and experiencing the actual working condition in a Beijing based furniture design company. Participating in the company meeting with clients and lectures for employee were also included in the period of time.
