Responsibilities: * Lead the development process from handover from design to finished products * Design proposals & active involvement in prototype development process * Ergonomics / Human factors integration * Product documentation (2D & 3D) * Evaluating/exploring suppliers and new materials * Proposal of materials & components which correspond with aim of furniture, ideally to reach expected comfort within project budget, * Support and collaborate with sales, marketing, suppliers among others * Ensure the quality on construction on both new and existing products * Developing prototypes in one-to-one collaboration with suppliers * Actively support internal development center on new developments * Project management - organize above mentioned points to ready new products for commercial fairs (e.g. IMM cologne) * Often travels to company headquarters, international trade fairs and manufacturers (domestic and abroad) * Research design and material trends in the market Business or sector Domestic Furniture Industry

Main Responsibilities : * Development of new products / improvement on existing products * Support prototype shop by providing technical documentation and new fixtures - if any used - throughout product development process

Development of a static benchmarking method for repeatable ergonomic evaluation of driver stations in heavy trucks. Research in relevant area followed by idea generation, prototype generation and building. Accurate and user friendly benchmarking tool which is based on SAE practices, and user instructions manual delivered.
