Bill Roy

I am an industrial designer by profession and a maker at heart. I love getting my hands dirty and tinkering. A few years ago I built my first reprap and my home makerspace has been constantly expanding since then. For a few years, while attending Syracuse University, I worked for SU Design Works, which is our makerspace for the design studio. I gained an understanding and operated all of the machines including the laser cutter, CNC, and 3D printer. I would also perform maintenance and create modifications where I saw fit. In my free time I am an arduino phanatic. Anyway, I love learning, sharing, and experimenting with a purpose. I work well as part of a team and I boost the energy of the design environment.
