SFWOI
Soap From Waste Oil Initiative is a project that incorporated the performance aspect of design. SFWOI was a cart that was specifically designed to turn waste oil from restaurants in the NYC area into hand soap using the process of soap making. I took the cart from digital renderings to a physical functioning object that was then able to be used on the streets of New York City. This project focuses on the amount of waste that is thrown into our sewer system in New York City alone and aims to bring about awareness to the consumer.
