Sara Burgess

My interest lies in the union of craft and technology.

Both of my parents are practicing studio potters, which has given me a unique understanding of tactile objects and design. I was taught to make things and make them well, with a kind of discipline and patience that is rarely practiced anymore. In coming to the Bay Area I have had opportunities to combine my love of the hand-made with the digital world.
