I never want to stop growing as an artist. “Creative Renewal” is my lifestyle. My primary focus is on ILLUSTRATION. I love working on products for KIDS and also HUMOR content. I also sculpt, paint, and am an avid "Urban Sketcher".
I also have a way with words…I have been a humor writer in the early years of my career, writing jokes for greeting cards. When my daughters were young, I wrote and illustrated some children’s books. Now that I have a grandson, I’m feeling the pull to do more books again. I am also a blogger, where I write and show step-by-step how I make all kinds of projects for fun. Because I am a great brainstormer, I have been in high demand over the years to come up with new concepts and new formats for products. I love to collaborate with a team, and have often worked with various designers, editors and engineers to find solutions. One of my favorite things is to develop pre-production sketches for 3D products to show to clients and to send to sculptors. I can present a loose drawing, or a very tight rendering of the details.
I love to learn new things, to experiment, to risk. Even with failures, nothing is wasted, if I look for the positive things to come out of challenges.
