Planning and executing projects with a greater emphasis on branding and design with products that have a compelling story; binding together marketing, engineering and manufacturing.
On a day to day basis i was involved in working on independent projects along with mentoring a team of junior designers, task assignments, project planning and scheduling. With a key focus on new product ventures and joint collaboration with external designers and firms from all over the world, i was involved in providing creative feedback and direction in the form of project briefs, inspiration boards, design feedback and portfolio management.
My responsibilities also included traveling overseas to work with vendors, developing good design awareness and workflow, at the same time ensuring speed to market by T1 approvals on the ground. Working together with Engineering and sourcing groups, i also co ordinate production and helped in maintaining design integrity when the product phase transitioned into manufacturing.
