Study inputs & Study whether existing designs can be used with or w/o modification * If same design can be used enter new part number on gauge & close TDR * If same design can be used with modification, identify implication & take appropriate action * For new design & major modification * Prepare concept drawing * Conduct gauge Design FMEA * Prepare detailed design assembly drawing, part drawing & part list / obtain design from gauge * Conduct design review jointly with requester and Procurement group Standards Room & tool design * Requester to raise TPR & handover to procurement * Obtain quotations for spl. Gauges & procurement for std. Gauges * Carryout gauge inspection/ verification/ R&R study as required * Conduct part trial & take counter measures in case of snags/design inadequacies * Acceptance & handover to user.

India Description : A Benchmark 2-wheeler presently available will be adapted to develop the design for the 2-wheeler ambulance keeping in mind the vehicle regulations, load caring capacity and driving safety.
