ACHIEVEMENTS:
➢ Designed the 2 largest programs in the entire men's department: the Estate Polo program and the Cashmere sweater program
➢ Revitalized Club Room Cashmere business which resulted in $21 million in sales
➢ Reinvented the Club Room Estate Polo business which made up $17 million in sales

DUTIES:
➢ Collaborated with Design Director and SVP of Men’s Sportswear on Pre-Concept Research and Development to produce cohesive design presentations rightful to brand
➢ Traveled to Asia with Product team to meet with various Knits & Sweater vendors to discuss techniques to achieve various sweater & knit stitches/washes/design details.
➢ Researched and analyzed business needs and trends; developed seasonal fabrication and trims to present to Design Director and Product team
➢ Reviewed all proto/meeting samples to ensure quality and execution while maintaining cohesive brand image.
➢ Proactive in executing and communicating revisions & updates. Responsible for managing and approving trim, strike offs, fabric and bulk approvals.
➢ Managed fit process to execute requirements established by Design Director, Product and Tech Design.
➢ Prepared presentation material and room set-up for pre-merchandising, Line Development, Pre-Line Review, Line Review and Buy Meetings, Including color, concept, design, print, techniques and storyboards.
➢ Created and prepared technical design development packages to overseas offices and vendors.
➢ Created computer-aided designs through Photoshop, Illustrator, and Kaledo Knit in developing print, stitches and pattern designs and provided pitch sheets to overseas factories.

➢ Assisted design director in all areas of design work in Knits & Sweaters
➢ Designed for menswear clients such as Burton, Pacific Sunwear, and Gander Mountain.
➢ Designed for contemporary markets such as Roxy,and the LTD Too including moderate brands such as Chico’s and White House/ Black Market.
➢ Managed and catalogued library of Sweater & Knit Swatches in all fabrications, gauges, stitches, and qualities
➢ Developed trend boards and presentation book materials for clients
➢ Communicated daily with overseas factories to review and track developmental samples

Freelance Design - Men’s Knits, Sweaters & Wovens

➢ Assisted Knits and Sweaters design team for three major Liz Claiborne brands; Axcess, Crazy Horse and Edge. These brands are carried in department stores across the US such as Kohl’s, JC Penny, and Macys.
➢ Researched and prepared upcoming trend materials for design team
➢ Prepared presentation materials such as creating mini bodies and design cards for clients; maintained sales reports
➢ Organized and styled presentation theme boards, rigs, mannequins, and brand lifestyle displays in showroom
➢ Assisted woven and knit designers in hand sketching; utilized stylemanager to create mini bodies for collection
➢ Communicated with production and showroom to update changes with garment prototypes from the design department
