I recently graduated Product Design degree seeking to start career in different disciplines of design world. I always enjoyed getting into smallest details where I can use my creative and technical skills, whether creating two dimensional graphical elements for websites, or designing mechanical mechanisms for a product. That is why I prefer calling myself multidisciplinary designer. I believe that in this age business can take better advantages of enthusiastic designers who are capable to jump in to different field of design, from product design to website design. Thus potentially saving money for the company by eliminating need of specialized designers to accomplish every single design task within the company.
I choose to study Product Design to understand exactly the issues and difficulties that comes with creating great product such as materials, manufacturing, regulations etc. so that I could take those issues into consideration straight from. I use this knowledge from beginning of the design process because it saves me time and also allows me to design better optimised designs for manufacturing, aesthetically, and functionally, instead of dramatically alternating concepts to make them into costs efficient and manufacturing ready products.
My skills include:
-CAD modelling (Solidworks)
-3D physical modelling-Foam, wood, metal, clay, and 3D printing.
-Technical knowledge-Preparing designs for manufacturing processes, practical experience using manufacturing processes, understanding about different material properties.
-Digital modelling rendering (Showcase)-Creating hyper realistic imagery.
-Graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks)- Capable of producing high quality eye catching display boards.
-Highly experienced in sketching, drawing and painting using various of tools.
-Website Design (Dreamweaver).
-MS Office-Highly experienced in most of the Microsoft Office package software including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
-Other software: Sony Vegas (Video editing), FL studio, Ableton, Audition (Audio editing)
Highly interested in understanding behaviour that is observed in the nature in the relation of solving technology problems. Furthermore how natures aesthetics can be adopted, because as human beings our thinking about functionality and aesthetics of a any design are greatly affected by our natural instinctive preconceptions.
Main hobby outside product design is electronic music production. Produced electronic music for 5 years had success selling licensing my music. Music production allows me to practise emotional design and philosophies which helps to better understand human emotional response to design.
