The Yahoo! Store Test Drive was a product demonstration tool for new customers, but it was difficult to use, due to lack of guidance. This project intended to provide customers with more upfront information, as well as stronger guidance through the process. This guidance included clear notation of the steps involved, as well as information on the features and functionality.
I was responsible for revamping the overall flow and interaction of this tool, including reorganizing the steps in the process. I incorporated the results of a project usability study into the end result, and worked with the team visual designer on updating the look and feel of the tool. My deliverables included an overall flowchart, wireframes, visual mockups, and final HTML.
