Vince Chiaramonte

As Director of Visual Design I'm responsible for the news design desk which consists of 24 designers and 3 creative directors who design and produce 40 publications for American City Business Journals. Previously I spent 22 years as AME/print at The Buffalo News. By emphasizing a bold and sophisticated design strategy The News became an industry leader in visual journalism through the use of classic typography, illustration and photography. Under his direction The News has received over 400 awards for design, illustration and photography including 9 silver medals, 2 Judges’ Special Recognition awards, and a finalist for "World’s Best Designed Newspaper" in 2011, 2013, semifinalist in 2018.
