Varun Prabhakar

Hi,

I am Varun Prabhakar, a Product Design graduate from National Institute of Design, India.

I have done various design projects spanning from simple products to system level design which have generated an aptitude to understand complex design problems by getting a holistic view of the context. Applying systemic thinking and foreseeing the design implications of the end product help in building robust and sustainable designs.

Prior education and experience in the field of electronics engineering generates a sound technical knowledge base for understanding product hardware and architecture. With basis of user research and skills for visual representation of ideas by using multiple mediums, may it be sketching, digital rendering or computer aided design I strive to design and develop innovative products. By following proven design process and methodologies, it has helped me to attain the intended objectives within the given constraints of time and resources.

With almost 3 years work experience with various organizations like Larsen & Toubro, Elephant Design, Faber-Castell India and Visteon Corporation which includes one year of product design experience. My interests include consumer electronics and healthcare design.

Currently I am actively seeking employment as well as product design project opportunities.
