Diseño Gráfico / AnimaciónInformAnimation: The Evolving GenomeJun 2013 - Jun 2013Part of the Computational Genomics Group of Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, their team studies the function and evolution of the genome focusing on humans and related organisms.
The project's driving idea is that the growing accessibility to platforms for digitally producing and distributing animated products, combined with the language of animation's traditional capacity to bridge cultural, language and age boundaries can play a key role in enhancing communication in areas with high added value such as: education, e-learning, training, scientific dissemination, that are typically very dense and complex. Within this framework, the IP educational goal is, through the development of a series of practical examples, to lay out possible new applications of the language of animation.
