Industrial Design firm that provides services to the medical, sports, and consumer goods industries. Onsite tooling and plastic injection capabilities for production.

Worked as lead designer on multiple projects, working closely with the external clients in each. Led both concept- and production-phase projects.

Projects were research-intensive and covered every aspect of the design process including ideation, mock ups, 3D modeling, presentations, and development of engineering drawings and models for production.

Gained valuable knowledge about production cost and the designer's role in maximizing cost efficiency.

Obtained a better understanding for the many parts of the design process and my role within that process, an understanding which greatly emphasized to me the importance of quality teamwork.

Learned the importance of good communication between designer and client, understanding the need for both great customer service and how to provide the client good information for obtaining a superior concept.

Exhibit design for the automotive auto show industry, including companies: the Chrysler division, Volkswagen,
Lincoln, as well as Motorola.

Conceptualization and design work included, overall display and design language, kiosk design, and interior
buck design.

The goals for design were to create an experience for the users.

Conducted lifestyle/theme research in New York City focusing on Shinola’s target consumer.

Design five watches based off lifestyle/theme research around Shinola’s watch movement packaging.

Produce two high end prototypes around the Shinola watch movements.

Work closely with the Shinola design team.

Design a tool rail and work tools for production for existing Nucraft case goods.

Design intent was to design a tool rail that fits Nucraft work tools, as well as Herman Miller, Haworth, and
Steecase work tools.

Designed an extraction simulator for the Marathon “Future Fuels” exhibit.

Design an experience of being extracted like oil.

Design an experience of being a drill, drilling for oil.

Exhibit was located in the freight elevator, requiring the exhibit to be removable.

Designed a Lifestyle Centric Mobile Device

Design intent was to design a mobile device for the communicative lifestyle.

Research process was done within a group of 6 students.

Worked closely with the Samsung design team.

Designed a Air Purification System

Team of 5 students to design a family of Household Cleaning Supplies.

Received feedback from Black & Decker product designers and managers.
