A natural curiosity exploring space and form, materials and objects has led me this far - an MA in industrial design from Kolding School of Design in 2012 and various freelance assignments in the year 2013 - LEGO recently.
I like to explore the fields between: Materiality and digitality; 2D and 3D; The workshop and SolidWorks; Quick sketches and prototypes; Detail and whole; Surprise and admiration; Leadership and community; Originality and commercialism.
My strength lies in being flexible and broad in my approach to design. Meaning that I can work in- and control the processes: Research, analysis, mapping and data transformation; Concept generation, generation of ideas, moods, prototyping, 3D and blueprints; Presentation, facilitation and dissemination of ideas, processes and methods in an open and engaging Danish or English. But I thrive in the development of concept, form, feeling and material. But I’m also flexible in the sense that I can switch between- and jump on different tasks.
I love being in the process, to have my limits and senses challenged - but just as much I love to share common pride in seeing a finished product. I’m used to working independently, but also enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues, experts and collaborators. I concider teamwork both as an important part of designing, but also as one of my strengths. I find that I give much to the process and the room I’m in through commitment, calmness and recognition, and that I can take leadership if necessary.
In my work I strive to convey the simple, powerful story through aesthetics, honest materials, sensuality, ethics and functional details. These are keywords, but are also synonomous with values I think are going to play a big role in future design and which I would like to help promoting in my future work.
I’ve earned my own money since I was very young. This has taught me what it means to have a job and the responsibilities that follows. My studio - and work experience, including NATIVE DESIGN in London and LEGO, has shown me the fact that I can work under pressure, meet deadlines, communicate ideas and concepts to clients and partners. And the fact that it is also important to have a life on the side.
As a person, I’m welcoming, positive, calm, curious and with a sense of humor. I am style-conscious. Is a major consumer of music, movies, talks, architecture and design, urban space and nature.
If this has aroused interest, my work and resume can be seen on my website.
I am interested in permanent employment and possibly project- and freelance assignments.
I’m looking forward to learn more and show my potential - and hope to hear from you.
Sincerely.
