Structural Steel
Structural steel for heavy industry such as diamond mining, coal power plants and warehouses. Some of the conveyers are over a kilometre in length. They transport ore and raw material around mining sites, and coal for power stations. Some of the conveyers are mobile crawlers that are situated on the beaches of Namibia where the sand is dredged and sifted for diamonds. Very often multiple draughtsmen work on a single project in a multiuser environment. It requires good communication and team work, attention to detail, technical and theoretical knowledge about structures and machinery.
