Using resin to build one side at a time.
After using resin to secure the joints, clear sealant was spread over the seams to create a water tight fit.
Final product (disk drive cover was off in the picture) with a full tank of water.

iMac Fish Tank

I converted an Apple iMac G3 to a fish tank. After stripping out the internals, I measured my available space and started on a tank design. I used Solidworks to build the tank so I could use the dimensioning tools to measure volume since the tank is an awkward shape. I heated the Plexiglas in the oven before laying it over a sheet metal mold I made to form the plastic into the shape of the CRT screen that came out.

The tank still works to this day, leak free. All water lines are hidden behind the monitor surround, making it look as if you are watching a fish video.
