Scooter when I received it
Donor bike
Mounting holes to bolt on a swing arm mount. I utilized the pipe sticking through as a "locating pin".
Turning the end caps that will house the bearings for the swing arm axle.
Left: Midway through turning starting to show general shape. Right: Final product
Turned the pipe so the end caps can be pressed in as an interference fit.
The mount's flat pieces were cut out from a 1/4in steel plate using a CNC plasma cutter.
Final swing arm mount welded up before getting painted.

Scooter Race Motor Swap

1984 Honda Elite CH80. I wanted to build the most unique sleeper I could think of. I used a Yamaha YZ125 as a donor vehicle. Since the scooter originally used the CVT and engine as a swingarm, I had to create a swingarm mount to use an aftermarket swing arm along with creating new motor mounts. I am currently still involved in finishing it.
