Sheffield Hallam university 2009-20012 BA (Hons) furniture and product design

Through studying I was able to design a range of products from furniture through to lighting; within these projects I have been using a range of design techniques, including sketching and CAD. I used hands on approach to making and building products, I used a range of materials from woods, plastics, and metal and carbon fibre. I feel confident in designing and building prototypes, my self-directed project enabled me to learn about carbon fibre from scratch. I then taught myself how use the material in a coffee table.



1 year BA (Hons) automotive design

I studied for a year in automotive engineering and I learnt my CAD skills here I also learnt how to produce technical drawings by hand. After the first year I changed to furniture and product design.

• Cscs card, allows me to work on building sites, I was required to take a test to prove my knowledge for safe working.

• Full driving license

• Gym instructor level 2, this allows me work within gyms a gym instructor.
