SunLux allows users to enjoy the health benefits of natural daylight in their indoor environment. The system uses an external solar receiver which concentrates sunlight into a fibre optic network. The sunlight is transferred through the building and terminates at the proposed solar sockets. Users are able to plug in their SunLux products and enjoy the full visible spectrum of light.
The SunLux lighting follows the beautiful dynamics of sunlight throughout the day, giving users a more natural environment. The system enables users the ability to reduce their electricity consumption by utilising natural sunlight during the day, instead of artificial lighting. The task lamp is dual source, with a backup LED array for when the sunlight is not available. When assisted mode is selected the hybrid lamp’s LED system monitors the sunlight in the fibre optics and adjusts the brightness of the LEDs so that a constant light level is achieved.
