An Arts and Crafts home designed for an external client in Guidlford. The brief was to produce a house design for a plot of land divided off an larger family property. The client wanted the design match the vernacular of the local homes in Guildford yet afford modern construction techniques. A Sketch Up model was produced which allowed the client to quickly visualise the project and comment upon.
Working with the client’s planning consultant, a packaged set of drawings which were submitted in a pre-application. The design was refined after comments from the planning officers and a full planning application was produced. The house was successful in gaining planning permission and is currently under offer from a prospective buyer.
