Industrial Designer with 3D modeling, automotive and composites manufacturing experience. An expert in SolidWorks with over 10 years of experience in advanced part design, surfacing and drafting. An early career as a machinist and fabricator provides a talent that can easily bridge the gap between engineering, product design and manufacturing.

RECENT EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS

Worked closely with customer to manufacture a carbon fiber drone (including the fuselage, wings, horizontal and vertical stabilizers). Converted crude CAD models to develop a manufacturing solution and tool designs.

Collaborated with engineering team to take existing electric vehicle design and scaling it up to larger vehicle size. Redesigned dash of vehicle to improve ergonomics and incorporate a flexible design with easy access to underlying equipment. Organized CAD model in SolidWorks utilizing Workgroup PDM. Created manufacturing instructions using SolidWorks Composer.

Created original design concept of hydrogen-electric transit bus from initial sketch through to SolidWorks CAD model. Designed the exterior shape and the major component concept layout including wheelbase, seating and window design.
