I’m a second year Graduate student at University of Pennsylvania with a major in Systems Engineering. Before attending Penn, I underwent my undergraduate study at University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. I am currently looking for a full time product management role at an exciting tech company.
My passion for technology stems from my background being born into a high-tech entrepreneurial family at Shenzhen, China. Following my entrepreneurial spirit, I decided to return to my hometown Shenzhen to start my own company producing and selling innovative car accessories after my time at Michigan. I successfully managed new product launches and marketing campaigns throughout China, helping the company expand into new markets. My experience working with the primary Chinese market gave me a range of essential skills, including insight into product design, customer analysis, and marketing. At same time, my experience is also more conducive to study in my Master’s program at University of Pennsylvania.
My most recent internship at Lingo Champ (Liulishuo), one of China’s leading oral English learning app (2000+ million users), deepened my interest in product management. During my three months there, I worked closely with my teammates to analyze Chinese English learning market, consumer behaviors, and new market opportunities. In addition to the task of helping the company to commercialize its current successful app, I also led a team to design a new app targeting new English learning demographics. I found it fascinating to be able to work with a group of talented people and bring a good product to market that satisfies users.
