I am originally from São Paulo, Brazil where I graduated in Industrial Design at University of Belas Artes with major on visual communication and graphic design. Since then I’ve had an opportunity to gain experience in many design competencies, including concept design, branding, print media, web-design, interaction design, user experience, and service design. My goal as professional is always to enrich my knowledge to be able to create meaningful value propositions to enhance customer experience.
Since moving to Helsinki in 2010 I understood that user experience and customer satisfaction were fundamental for the success of the businesses by improving how we interact with the websites, applications and devices in our lives. With this mindset I continued my studies in Human-Computer Interaction. The courses focused in user-centered design, human information processing, task analysis, interface design, input technologies, prototyping, and usability evaluation.
I am currently studying a Master degree in Service Innovation and Design at Laurea with the proposal of enrich my knowledge in service development principles and methods, design thinking, future design, techniques of get customer insights and how to analyse them, value co-creation, facilitator skills, service strategy and business model.
My work approach is under the service design principles and methods and I am combining design thinking tools to facilitate creation of an effective value proposition for the customers. I have long experience on working with Adobe Creative Package. As part of my profession I have worked with several techniques for prototyping and learned how to use them to support the evolution of service design. I have also background on design leading and task management. I love to work closely together with the customer and stakeholders and I do believe in the power of interaction. I enjoy teamwork, especially in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, because they make daily job more enriching and offer new and interesting perspectives.
