Szymon is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelors degree of Design in Industrial Design. During Szymon’s education at UIC, he interned at SolVast Corp. as a graphic designer and subsequently at Leapfrog Product Development as an industrial designer. Prior to graduating, he gained international experience designing furniture at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad in Copenhagen and received national recognition as a finalist in a design competition with The Toyota Mobility Foundation. He is currently working as a CAD designer for Manifesto, designing a comprehensive array of custom furniture.
Throughout his design and research practice, Szymon has always been dedicated to compose his work through focused and sophisticated processes. Szymon strives to design beyond the functional extent of solving a need, while stressing integrity and efficiency in manufacturing. Szymon also actively supports design’s impact on society, environment, culture, and human interaction. Inspired by dreams and grounded in reality, Szymon’s goals are to expand his experience in Art, Architecture, & Design in order to become an influential global designer.
