Sydney Carter

My concentration within mechanical engineering was product development. I had a strong core of standard mechanical engineering classes concerning mechanics of materials/statics, dynamics and controls, thermodynamics, electronics, and manufacturing processes. In addition, I did research on and took several classes related to product design, which helped me develop skills in designing with a focus on user experience. I also took a few business classes at the Sloan School of Business, where I learned about intellectual property law, business strategies for entrepreneurs, and probability-based decision making in fields like the biotech industry.
