Job Responsibilities:

Volvo Construction Equipment * Investigated cost reduction opportunities and used Apriori software to analyze the cost savings of the concepts. * Involved in project planning and execution timeline to maximize the Cost saving target. * Used CAD modeling software Creo to design, prototype, document and validate variety of projects with total annual cost savings achieved by the projects - $100,000. College Projects and Achievements Design and 3D printing of prosthetic arm involving fingers curling mechanism in SolidWorks. * This prosthetic arm was designed for people who have lost their fingers but who still have wrists and palm. * The design is divided into 3 parts connected by elastic threads which would actuate the fingers to curl when we bend our writs and uncurl when we relax. Founded SAE Baja team and was team leader and lead designer for 2 years. * Lead a team of 15 where we built two ATV's (All Terrain Vehicles) using CATIA V5 CAD software abiding to SAE BAJA international rules. * The first car built was 3+1 manual transmission system for $2300 and the second one was a 150cc automatic transmission built for $3300 making it one of the cost effective cars in India in their respective categories.
