I’m a trained product designer (industrial designer) and received my BID from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena CA in 1991. Since graduating, I’ve worked for a multitude of design groups from INNO (mountain view CA) to LANGE (Montebelluna ITALY), to Henry Dreyfuss Associates (NY). We covered a multitude of design projects from ski boots and ski gloves to kitchen products to museum interiors. As a model maker at ROCKWELL group in NYC I built the 1/24 scale models of the The Hypar Pavilion, known as the the Illumination Lawn. This is the glass-walled restaurant topped with a 10,000 sf campus lawn of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
From 2000 - 2020, I was heavily involved in performing arts, ran multiple dance teams and launched Jumpin Entertainment LLC in 2006. Our teams have traveled the globe from national venues like Lincoln Center NYC, The Borgata Atlantic City, Howard Hughes Corporation, to the San Sebastian Jazz Festival SPAIN, UMBRIA JAZZ festival ITALY, to Rock That Swing MUNICH.
Today I’m transitioning back to my roots as a visionary product and environmental designer taking on challenging and creative projects.
Warm Regards,
Paolo Di Lanna
