Technica Branding - Technica Corporation sells IT solutions to the Federal Government. After interviewing key stakeholders throughout the company, I developed a new unified look and feel which emphasized their key strength—their knowledgeable and experienced engineering staff. Then I designed collateral templates, trade show graphics, PPT templates and a new web site design. I also wrote a Marketing Style Guide and designed a Brand Standards Guide to help others in the group implement the new style correctly.
PFM Branding - Prison Fellowship Ministries' (PFM) challenge was that their marketing materials, and various program brands, had to appeal to everyone from conservative sponsors and donors to hardened criminals. In order to achieve this I designed a brand that would incorporate different degrees of "edginess" depending on the program brand and audience. I then wrote and designed a graphic standards manual that detailed steps for achieving this look and feel.
Integrated Marketing - I designed an integrated marketing campaign around Vance's security services at the 2006 Winter Olympic Games. The look and feel was designed to be reminiscent of classic travel posters. The campaign included direct mail, printed collateral, posters, customized emails and a web microsite.
Advertising - When the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) decided to merge two of their services into one, they needed an ad campaign to explain this change to their customers. I came up with the headline, "One Country. One Mission. One Source." and designed the ads to not only announce the merger, but to highlight their value proposition that they are America's only source solely dedicated to procuring goods and services for government.
Integrated Marketing - I designed and directed the execution of integrated marketing campaign for the Department of Defense Worldwide Human Resources Conference in 2006. The theme for the conference was "The Future is Now" and the look and feel was designed to evoke the optimistic vision of the future that was exemplified by the posters done for the WPA in the 1930s.
I am the lead designer and content manager for the Technica corporate website. This includes working cross-functionally throughout the organization to gather content and keep it updated. I am also responsible for the design of all graphics from the images and web banners to the contract logos. Visit the website at: technicacorp.com.
Corporate Brochures - These samples represent a variety of projects for several different clients. While I frequently use photography on corporate collateral, I like to look for ways to use illustration if I can, including photo illustration, when it's the right approach for the client.
