Brahms at The Barns - This pencil illustration (based on an old portrait of Brahms) was done to promote a concert event at The Barns of Wolftrap.
Faces of American Literature - This woodcut and silkscreen illustration of Cotton Mather was done for the US Information Agency to promote US authors overseas.
Reagan to Workers: Drop Dead - This woodcut and watercolor illustration was done for Ralph Nader's Public Citizen magazine for an article about how the Reagan administration was turning it's back on worker safety in the US.
America's Deadliest Export - This illustration (done to resemble my woodcut style in Photoshop with a pressure-sensitive tablet) was for an article about the US exporting cigarettes (along with their deadly consequences) all over the world.
The FTC wanted a brochure to help parents guide their children on how to surf the internet safely.
The Edge of Laughter - This woodcut illustration (printed in one color on a colored stock) was done for a series of comic performances at the Theater Project in Baltimore, MD.
