The Technica collateral template utilizes a simple three-column grid to bring consistency and improve readability of our marketing pieces. Type and images can stretch across one, two, or three columns as long as they align to the grid. The blue arch at the bottom of each piece is another unifying element.
Corporate Brochures - These samples represent a variety of projects for several different clients. While I frequently use photography on corporate collateral, I like to look for ways to use illustration if I can, including photo illustration, when it's the right approach for the client.
AOL Direct Mail Packages - AOL wanted to highlight a certain number of free hours online in a month for new customers as an enticement to join. I also suggested other benefits be highlighted, such as speed of use (cheetah and rocket) and access to music downloads (sax) along with the primary benefit. I did this work for AOL as a freelancer. I was solely responsible for all the concepts, design and illustration of these mailers.
Vance Holiday Card - The design for this card involved die-cut windows that, at first, revealed the photos and color blocks used in the standard Vance brand. When the insert for the card was pulled out however, it revealed the words "Thank You" in the windows. A flash animation was designed for the home page of the Vance website to tie into the card with holiday security tips.
USi Baseball Event Invitation - The 3D invitation I designed for a corporate sales event sponsored by USi, a leading Internet applications service provider, helped result in a sold-out event with a waiting list of attendees.
