Awards
I help monitor a homeless center on a seasonal basis. The agency I volunteer for is working to provide shelter each night of the year. These sites are open each night and provide dinner, sleep facilities, breakfast and a bag lunch to help bring stability and support to men and women who are persistently homeless and facing complex challenges such as limited incomes and issues that may include mental illness, substance abuse, and disabling health conditions.
