PORTOBELLO PANTOMIME * I was employed as the head of costume for the Portobello Panto. * I designed, sourced and made costume for 50 people on a £500 budget in the space of 3 weeks. * I had to learn how to work with a small budget. * Time management. * Having last minutes costumes additions and changes made at the last minute has taught me to be flexible with my creative control.

London * I worked as a costume assistant for the Olympic opening and closing ceremony costume team. I had the great privilege of working in many of the costume departments for the ceremonies, which meant I learnt new techniques and developed my making skills greatly. * I learned how to work under extreme pressure due to time limitations, which meant organization and time keeping skills were crucial. * I worked with an extremely large team, so I learnt great teamwork skills * I learned risk assessment. Skills used - Pattern cutting, cutting on the stand, construction and surface design, breaking down, dyeing and millinery.

* I designed and made all the costume for the play Angel City, directed by Ellie Nunn and shown at the Edinburgh film festival. * I acquired an appreciation for teamwork with different departments in theatre production. SKILLS AND ACTIVITIES * I am proficient in both Windows and Apple operating systems, as well as in all aspects of Microsoft Office. I am trained in pattern drafting and cutting, cutting on the stand, surface decoration, dye work, breaking down and screen-printing. I have a good understanding of millinery and tailoring. Anything creative I feel confident at doing, and learn quickly when approached with new techniques and skills used in anything creative. Any work with people I would enjoy greatly, and I take pride in being a friendly and active person.
