refresh initiative.

I develop new designs for branded military (Reebok, Converse, Rockport) and occupational shoes/boots.

Render eye-popping, vividly colored images for clients, traditionally and digitally, used in advertising, children’s books, and children’s videos.

-Significant part in creation of children’s videos and books such as Bed Bugs, Beastie Buddies, and Noah’s Park, by producing story backgrounds and characters in watercolor, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
-Organize page layouts and text layout for books/book covers along with dictating color palettes for characters, environments, and text.
-Communicate with clients to facilitate the finalization of existing projects

I created new licensed/fashion/trend inspired hats and gloves for mass and mid-tier children’s markets.

I designed seasonal licensed products for mass market stores.

Create new athletic inspired shoes for mass and mid-tier for men, women, and children, including licensed footwear for children.

-Design line art and technical drawings for samples/production, create detailed cads for presentations, allocating materials for development of the product, overseeing final production samples, and working with our overseas teams on the product.
-Exercise knowledge of trends at retail from shopping local and national markets.
-Trend forecast and build product for different customers such as Target, Walmart, K-mart, Kohl’s, and Payless Shoes.
-Work directly with buyers on the product and engage in sales meetings with them.
-Have helped increase sales from 5 million to 30 million with one customer, and have nurtured the growth of several others.
-Conceived concepts/product for Marvel, Transformers, Go Diego Go, StarWars, Fergie and Fergilicious creating more licensing opportunities
-Conceived concepts/product for Mens, Womens, and Childrens athletics/cauals for private labels.
-Conceived new and innovative technical pieces/inserts for outsole viability and comfort.

Develop fresh and innovative shoe designs, facilitating the evolution of various brand lines, while retaining a relevance in the market.

-Digitally administered the completion of shoe designs for numerous departments from beginning to end by following guidelines from line builders.
-Cading of shoe designs which entails coloring the design, shading, adding textures, and the appropriate brand identities.
-Managed line art projects and designs, directed work flow along with the delegation of projects to other designers.
-Trained newly employed designers in all facets of the shoe design process which include: interpretation of designs, development of side wall sole plate, and upper designs, cut-aways of sole plate designs for overseas development, and a meticulous eye for detail.
-Promoted to senior line artist/designer for Childrens division.
-Conceived concepts for Build-A-Bear, Build-A-Bear Kids, Friends to be Made, Sweethearts, Gotcha, Nerf, and Hillary Duff’s shoe line, Duff’s Stuff.
-Executed conceptual designs and tech pieces for marketing strategies to acquire rights for the development of a “Transformers” line.
