I am highly capable and proficient in design sketching and believe it is the most important design discipline in terms of speed, emotion and communication. I‘m both accomplished in loose sketching, appropriate at the beginning of a project and tighter more presentational sketching useful when nearing the end of a project when more details are being refined. I can also use manual rendering techniques to further communicate aspects of my designs as well as Photoshop rendering techniques to polish and finish sketches.

Working on a temporary contract for one of Assystem's clients in the computer game industry. My role involved designing original vehicles for an off-road racing game developed for a renowned games console. Working from specially selected inspirational images, I sketched initial ideas and with feedback developed these into final designs in front and rear ¾ view's and as blueprint/G.A.'s with four views per design.

An invaluable experience, over the six months of working there great improvements were seen in my sketching, rendering and design communication skills. During the placement I worked on live projects with large scale OEMs and one of my designs was presented as a design proposal for the client.
