• Managing multiple projects through all stages of development. Overseeing, assisting & managing sub-contractors.
• Hands on prototyping to ensure Design For Manufacturing is always considered while still conforming and adapting designs to meet strict ANSI testing standards.

• Lead designer in R&D Department working directly with the company owner and Chief Creative Director to find and explore new sectors in the sports apparel industry by analyzing market trends and needs for future products.
• Conceptualize new designs for presentation and approval in front of sales and marketing departments during the quarterly product design meetings. Back up concept with strong visual aids, sketches, renders and very often working prototypes.
• Managed multiple projects through all stages of development. Overseeing, assisting & managing sub-contractors where needed for larger scale prototyping and user testing.
• Generating, analyzing and researching anthropometric data to guide design direction.
• Managing Point Of Sale design.
• Mentoring Junior Designer.
• International travel to manage prototyping and sign off production/golden samples.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting production stoppages while abroad. Minimizing rejected parts, bringing unit cost down and ensuring production deadlines were met.
• International travel to meet with pro-athletes for user testing and prototype refinements. Establishing and maintaining professional working relationships with athletes within the target markets.
• Collecting feedback from market responses and athlete feedback to analyze and ensure all needs are met in terms
of aesthetic looks, functionality, comfort and safety.
• Design For Manufacture. This includes hard and soft plastic parts, fabrics and padding, strapping and webbing.
• Team collaboration with Biomedical Engineers, Graphic Designers, and Marketing departments to accurately deliver
on all project requirements.
• Conforming and adapting designs to meet strict CE and ANSI testing standards.
