Livingscape: Senior Thesis

For my thesis project, I created a indoor park.  The space combined the concepts of a local park and a lounge.  The general design of the space was made to look like a park with trees, grass, pathways for walking/jogging, park benches, etc. To enhance the use of the space, elements from a lounge setting were applied. Because the park was be indoors, it could be used year round in any type of weather. With the building, The Kimmel Center, being located in center city Philadelphia it provided a great places to hold events, serve as a meet-up place, etc. The space raised awareness to nature and environment in a city area as well as provided an area for the community to gather.

These renderings were created using AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch-Up, and Podium.
