Advandes is a new wave design services company specializing on total design solutions in automotive equipment, new product development and advanced engineering. The offered areas of expertise are Automotive, Medical & Scientific device design, Capital equipment design, Consumer electronics, Defense equipment design and Design for emerging markets. The project delivery skills include Innovation research, Industrial design, Mechanical design, DFMA and CAE.

Lead the entire spectrum of New Product Development as Director - New Product Development through team of professionals from two locations in Ahmedabad and Bangalore. Guides and mentors the team for Research, Industrial Design, Product Engineering, Innovation LAB and Manufacturing at LUMIUM towards successful project delivery. Has successfully implemented processes at LUMIUM to ensure designer satisfaction, project predictability, tracking, allocation, and quality of delivery in a multidisciplinary creative environment.

Held the post of Assistant Director, leading and mentoring 7 member Innovations LAB at Lumium. The Innovation LAB is a multi-disciplinary team with Strategic Design Managers, Industrial Designers and Design Engineers. The team enhances technical and user centered innovation capabilities of Lumium to make it the most effective design service provider in international design landscape. Handles additional responsibility of international sales and new customer acquisition support for Lumium design and engineering services.

Worked as Lead System Designer leading Platform Development, System Integration, Team Mentoring, Design Process Control and Project & Resource Management. Handled additional responsibilities of Client Communications, Project Proposal preparation and negotiations.

Worked as Project Lead leading Indian and Overseas projects in aspects of Project Planning, Client Communication, Handling Project Team and Managing Quality of Deliverable. Specialized in Systems Integration, Product Engineering, Prototyping and Manufacturing Co-ordination for technically complex and innovation led Product Development projects.

Worked as Business Innovation Consultant in Senior Manager capacity for the group to derive new growth platforms (NGP) and conceptualise new businesses for the future.

Worked as Senior Designer/ Creative Lead for 2 years and 3months leading a 8 to 12 member team of designers, engineers and model makers. Worked as team member and creative lead on many major projects for clients like DRDO, Godrej, and HPCL. Held a concurrent profile of trainer/mentor for interns, entry level designers and engineers training/mentoring them in software, design process and creative detailing. The Exoskeleton for soldier performance augmentation designed with R&D Engineers (DRDO), Pune, has become a prestigious showcase project for Onio.
