My passions:
Transforming customer experiences by improving the work experience of people whose livelihoods are derived from using products I design.
Synthesizing trend forecasting and customer insights into business proposals for new products and services. Facilitated through a commitment to continuous research into a broad range of topics and industries, using a combination of desk and field research. The key learnings assist in identifying value propositions and presenting business cases that create wins for both the company as well as our customers.
I am an avid believer in performing "deep dives" into customer applications. Long hours of ethnographic research are the building blocks for discovery. I have spent many 20+ hour days following operators, documenting tasks that comprise their day, and having personal conversations about their experiences. All done to truly empathize with the people who perform unique and demanding jobs every day.
