Ken Karlic

The Textile Museum expands public knowledge and appreciation—locally, nationally and internationally—of the artistic merits and cultural importance of the world’s textiles. Ken Karlic of Splice Design Group designed their logo with a clever figure-ground reversal, where a patterned shape suggests a weave and becomes a letter M while the letter T appears out of the negative of that shape.
