Soonhwa Kang

After working in the fields of advertisement, editorial design and branding in Tokyo, Singapore and NYC, her eyes and heart has shifted more to educational and sustainable themes.

Currently besides she is working for the small start ups and socially responsible organizations, she has some self-initiated projects. Hanato Morito is launched with an illustrator, Fumi Morimoto for inspiring parents and kids. A sustainable design project Flatto81 was launched by a designer Emi Tsutsuhio and I joined together with an artist Atelier Chika Ito since 2008. With Amsterdam based artist Kyoko KinderKunstKlas, we organized the creative star festival for international children in the Netherlands.

When she is not working, she often visits museums and botanical gardens. Modern dance, pilates, yoga are her passions besides design.
