When I was 5 years old I decided to be a designer of clothes. From the beginning I only draw and then I understood to create clothes sketching is not enough. You should know whole process of production, quality of materials and have feeling of future models. I was graduated College and University of Technology and Design. I had a lot of practice of sewing and design. I took part in different competitions and was a winner a lot of times. Sonya Monina is a pseudonym from student’s period which was transformed into trade mark. In 2011 I presented my first conceptual collection M.U.T.A.T.I.O.N. The main idea of it was Environmental Biology and Safe Planet. I’m fond of Nature, World and Planet. I think that a human is a part of Space and if we want safe our self we have to respect natural wealth.

Idea to dress up men showing their individuality was in my mind for a long period. From my point of view Man should dress up Lady and Lady – Men. Only different genders can see the ‘salt’ of each other.

On September, 2011 I presented first conceptual Men’s collection. It was named easy and at the same time different – ‘8’. This is my favorite and lucky number.

Then I started to take part in Fashion Weeks. I presented Men’s Collection for FW 2013/14 during Ukrainian Fashion Week.

Belorussian Fashion Week 2015.

From 2018 I’m a resident of Ukrainian Fashion Week.

At the moment I have three lines of clothes – Men, Women and Conceptual.

I create according to Modern Time producing conceptual and at the same time ready-to-wear clothes. I try to show individuality expressing brand’s philosophy through the concept. I’m sure that each person is talented, each of us has bonuses and abilities, each of us is full of some good. There are not empty persons. All of us has his own ‘charge level’. Unfortunately, not everyone knows about it. We have to be different. The easiest way to do it is clothes. That’s why I create Conceptual clothes. Each of us find smith. close to him and dress up in different way, expressing his individuality. I like to make World better! Because World is We are!

Fashion for me is an inner value which is coming first. Clothes becomes more than outfit, this is the way of communication with World. Conception is a main sense, managing idea, system of points of views and human’s organization. Because of it you can understand person and his priorities at first sight. And when you start to communicate with him even understand his goal and purpose.

Every creature on the Planet consists of something serious and mysterious covered with sensuality. Everything is depending and supporting by itself. External World depends on Internal and VS.

I love to create sculpture shape clothes. It contains different geometrical details which combines together and creates new deconstructive form.

I`m found of nature. I love mountains, seas and oceans, forests… From my point of view, we`re part of Nature. Our body reflects our actions and faces – thoughts and emotions.

I`m inspired by Nature and share my heart with each piece of my creates.

Asymmetry, sculpting, destructive lines, colorful chaos and geometry of details make my pieces inimitable, conceptual and at the same time ready-to-wear clothes.



I create conceptual things with meaning that makes you think. Things that stir emotions and raise important issues in human consciousness. One of the characteristics of my creations is boldness. The courage to think, to understand, to wonder, to explore the world, to know themselves and discover facets of your own individuality.

Clothes SM for thin and outside the box thinking representatives of the society, individuals, tending to introversion, for which conceptual clothing becomes a second skin, able to match their internal organization.
