Designed for Le Klint, inspired by nature.
All SWIRL lamps have an advanced geometry that covers the lightbulb from ALL angles while it reflects the light downwards. The thin shades ensure translucence as we know it from all the other classical Le Klint lamps. This combination creates a comfortable light and gives smooth, soft shadows while a minimum of the light from the lightbulb is getting lost.
The geometry is inspired by the Fibonacci-numbers: a mathematical concept you can find everywhere in nature such as flowers, plants, fractals and in this snails shel that evoke my fascination of this endless universe more than 10 years ago.
